One day I went in to check on Mitchell who was playing in the living room while I was making dinner in the kitchen and this is what I found. He figured out how to climb into his toy bin. Crazy kid!
I love catching these father and son moments.
On one Saturday in June, Chris had a balloon job for Nappanee's 2nd Saturday. Mitchell and I walked around downtown to see all the little shops and events they had going. At the candy store, they had an Oreo decorating table for kids so we made one!
For our 4 year anniversary, we went out to lunch at Salsa's. You can't go to Salsa's and not get the guacamole...it's so good.
After Salsa's, we went to the movies to see Iron Man 3.
Chris got Mitchell this fish hat at the LDS Encampment over the weekend.
Here's two pictures of Mitt just relaxing or "jus rewaxin" as he says.
We've had some really hot days this summer so we took advantage with the sprinkler outside. Mitchell was more interested in dumping water in and out of different containers though.
On the week that our Doctor was out of town, Mitchell got pink eye (or some kind of virus, anyways) so we had to go to the ER to get it treated. He was so good though and it thankfully didn't take too long.
Later that day I introduced Mitchell to toffee ice cream bars. Delicious!
Here's one of our newest favorite activities called the exploding car wash. First, we load some baking soda into a casserole dish and Mitt pushes his cars around in it. Then, when you add vinegar, it fizzes up and then he pushes his cars in the mush.
4th of July! Tip: don't start your 2 year old out with a big roll of fire crackers. It might ruin the rest of the firework experience for them. Yikes!
Chris was gone all week to boy scout camp in July. It was so very hot but we went to go visit him and Papa Jeep. We got caught in the rain and Mitchell thought that was the best thing ever!
While walking into the mall, the door was unusually heavy and shut really quickly on my. My flip flop got caught and this is what happened. I almost fell, but luckily caught hold of the wall. JC Penny's was kind enough to let me pick out a new pair of flops.
Baby girl is growing and we're getting more and more excited to meet her!
